PROVO, Utah — PooFort, a local baby-tech startup, has announced the world’s first blowout-proof diaper after researchers determined traditional diapers were “mostly decorative.”
The new diaper was tested against every known consistency of fecal matter, including liquid, paste, foam, and the mysterious variety capable of traveling six inches upward against gravity.
PooFort says its full-body design prevents leaks at the waist, legs, and the previously unexplained route directly into the baby’s hair.
The company expects strong demand from parents who have ever looked at a changing table, realized wipes were not going to be enough, and started filling the bathtub instead.
PooFort is expected to launch this fall after successful trials in cribs, car seats, and one very unfortunate Costco cart.
